Agenda Board of Education Independent School District NO. #89 Kingfisher County, Oklahoma Cashion Public Schools
As required by section 311 Title 25 of the Oklahoma Statutes, notice is hereby given that the Board of Education of Independent School District NO. 89, Kingfisher County, Oklahoma, will hold a special meeting on December 13, 2010, at 6:00 p.m., in the auditorium, Cashion High School building, Cashion Public Schools, 101 North Euclid, Cashion, Oklahoma. ______________________________________________________________ Note: The board may discuss, vote to approve, vote to disapprove, vote to table or decide not to discuss any item on the agenda.
1. Call to order 2. Establish quorum 3. Consent Agenda A. Vote to approve the agenda as part of the minutes B. Vote to approve the minutes from the special meeting of November 8, 2010 C. Vote to approve the treasurer’s report D. Vote to approve the child nutrition report E. Vote to approve the activity fund report F. Vote to approve activity requests, fundraiser requests, and purpose of expenditure forms (Consent Agenda may be voted separately at the request of any member of the Board of Education) 4. Items for Board Action: Vote to approve purchase order encumbrances for 2010-2011 1) General Fund: P.O. #s 189 – 208 & 50078 – 50080 and increase #16 by $2000.00, #25 by $1,000.00, #123 283.92 for a total of $41,170.01 2) Building Fund: P.O. #s 19 – 20 & increase #9 by $1,000 for a total of $1,221.47 3) Transportation Fund: P.O. #4 for a total of $114.56 B. Vote to approve, amend, or take other action on Lease/Purchase (2009) disbursement request #15 in the amount of $596.50 C. Vote to approve, amend, or take other action on Lease/Purchase disbursement (2007) request # 34 in the amount of $12,620.00 D. Vote to approve, amend, or take other action on contract with Oklahoma School Pictures for the 2011 – 2012 school year E. Discussion of academic and professional requirements for lay coaches, lay sponsors, etc. F. Vote to approve, amend, or take other action on School Farm Lease Agreement G. Discussion of possible means to reduce district expenditures H. Vote to approve, amend, or take other action on continued participation in the special education cooperative with Kingfisher Schools I.
