Agenda Board of Education Independent School District NO. #89 Kingfisher County, Oklahoma Cashion Public Schools
As required by section 311 Title 25 of the Oklahoma Statutes, notice is hereby given that the Board of Education of Independent School District NO. 89, Kingfisher County, Oklahoma, will hold a special meeting on November 8, 2010, at 6:00 p.m., in the auditorium, Cashion High School building, Cashion Public Schools, 101 North Euclid, Cashion, Oklahoma. ______________________________________________________________ Note: The board may discuss, vote to approve, vote to disapprove, vote to table or decide not to discuss any item on the agenda.
1. Call to order 2. Establish quorum 3. Consent Agenda A. Vote to approve the agenda as part of the minutes B. Vote to approve the minutes from the special meeting of October 11, 2010 C. Vote to approve the treasurer’s report D. Vote to approve the child nutrition report E. Vote to approve the activity fund report F. Vote to approve activity requests, fundraiser requests, and purpose of expenditure forms (Consent Agenda may be voted separately at the request of any member of the Board of Education) 4. Items for Board Action: A. Vote to approve purchase order encumbrances for 2010-2011 1) General Fund: P.O. #s 173 - 188 & 50072 – 50077 & increase P.O.’s #29, #35 & 50000-50009, 50011, 50013 – 50035, 50037 – 50059, 50061 – 50063, 50066 – 50071 by $1,980,893.12 totaling $2,005,589.80 2) Building Fund: P.O. #18 & increase P.O.’s 50000 – 50003, 50006 – 50007 by $58,931.95 totaling $60,231.95 3) Child Nutrition: P. O. # 50003 & increase P.O.’s #50001 – 50002 by $21,568.80 totaling $21,724.89 4) Transportation Fund: P.O. #3 totaling $790.11 B. Discussion of bond projects C. Vote to approve, amend, or take other action on resolution to the Kingfisher County Election Board for the call of an annual school election on February 8, 2011. If necessary, a run-off election is to be held on April 5, 2011. D. Vote to approve, amend, or take other action on the following transfer of funds: Transfer $120 from 801 (Football) to General Fund Transfer $1500 from 801 (Football) to General Fund Transfer $500 from 801 (Football) to General Fund Transfer $500 from 801 (Football) to General Fund Transfer $447 from 904 (HS Cheer) to 910 (JH Cheer) E. Vote to approve, amend, or take other action on lease/purchase (2009) disbursement request #14 in the amount of $37,800.61 F. Vote to approve, amend, or take other action on lease/purchase (2007) disbursement request #33 in the amount of $8,279.79 G. Approve, amend, or take other action on Cashion Public Schools Leave Policy H. Vote to approve, amend, or take other action on board meeting schedule for 2011 calendar year to be filed with Kingfisher County Clerk. (Exhibit #1) I.
