As required by section 311 Title 25 of the Oklahoma Statutes, notice is hereby given that the Board of Education of Independent School District NO. 89, Kingfisher County, Oklahoma, will hold a special meeting on October 11, 2010 at 6:00 p.m., in the auditorium, Cashion High School building, Cashion Public Schools, 101 N. Euclid, Cashion, Oklahoma.

 

The board may discuss, vote to approve, vote to disapprove, vote to table or decide not to discuss any item on the agenda.

3.                  Consent Agenda

A.                 Vote to approve the agenda as part of the minutes

B.                 Vote to approve the minutes from the special meeting from September 13, 2010

C.                 Vote to approve the treasurer’s report for September

D.                Vote to approve the activity fund report for September

E.                 Vote to approve the child nutrition report for September

F.                 Vote to approve activity requests, fundraiser requests, and purpose of expenditure forms

(Consent Agenda may be voted separately at the request of any member of the Board of Education)

A.                 Vote to approve purchase order encumbrances for 2010-2011

1)   General Fund: P.O. #s 143 – 172 &  50065 – 50071 & increase P.O. #50000 – 50009, 50011, 50013 – 50017, 50019 – 50059, 50061 – 50064, by $201,742.51 totaling $213,891.47

2)  Building Fund: P.O. #s 16 – 17 & increase P.O. #3, #50000 – 50004, 50006 -50007 by $9,670.53 totaling $10,270.53

3)  Child Nutrition Fund:  P.O. # 17, increase #50001 – 50002 by $2,156.88 totaling $2,475.25

4) Transportation Fund: P.O. #2 totaling $7,000

B.        Vote to convene a public hearing for discussion of the annual school budget

C.         Vote to approve, amend, or take other action on the FY11 working school budget

D.        Vote to approve, amend, or take other action on lease/purchase (2007) disbursement request number 32 in the amount of $ $22,244.30

E.         Vote to approve, amend, or take other action on lease/purchase (2009) disbursement request number 13 in the amount of $ $29,240.05

F.         Vote to approve, amend, or take other action on ACE Remediation Plan for the 2010-2011 school year

G.        Vote to approve, amend, or take other action regarding annual contract for Secondary and Full-Time Adult Career and Technology Education Programs

H.        Vote to approve, amend, or take other action on Jostens Publication Agreement

I.          Vote to approve, amend, or take other action on employee contracts

J.         Vote to approve, amend, or take other action on the increase of prices in the cafeteria (milk from 0.40 to 0.50 and guest lunches from $2.60 to $2.75).

K.        Discussion of current bond issue projects and remaining bond amounts
