Mrs. Dawn Hudson - 1st Grade

About Ms. Hudson:

My name in Dawn Hudson.  My wonderful husband Steve, beautiful daughter Jaidyn, and ornery Beagle Jazmine, moved to Cashion, from Oklahoma City, several years ago.   We love living here and enjoy our little piece of the world.

I am a graduate of the University of Central Oklahoma and also attended Oklahoma State University.  I have teaching certificates in early and elementary education.

I started teaching eight years ago in the Oklahoma City Public Schools system.  The last seven years I taught first grade in the Edmond Public Schools system.  I am excited to now be starting my second school year with Cashion Elementary.

The most important thing you need to know about me is that I am passionate about children, and I love what I do!  When I’m not teaching, I enjoy supporting “my” Oklahoma State Cowboys, reading, gardening, sewing, scrapbooking and crafting.

 I am thrilled to be starting this school year with your child.  I look forward to working closely with you and your child to ensure success and a love of learning in first grade.
