About The Teacher

     Hi!  I'm Lori LaFortune.  I am a wife to Dan; a mother to Joshua (4th
grade) and Kaden (1st grade);and a servant to cats, Spot and Scruffy.  We live
in Piedmont, Oklahoma.  
     I received my teaching degree from Oklahoma Baptist University.  I taught
6th, 2nd and 3rd for eight years in Enid, Oklahoma.  Then I took off a few
years to stay home with my kids.  This will be my third year to teach at Cashion.
     I enjoy relaxing with my family, spending time with friends, going to
church, scrapbooking, drinking Starbucks Mochas, reading books and watching
movies.

Mission For The Class

Each student in my class is a unique and valued individual.  Each student
will develop skills to be a lifelong learner, able to search and find
solutions to class and life problems and challenges. Each student is an
important member of our class team.  Students will practice skills of
cooperation and teamwork.
